On 25th, February, our company received the formal notice of API(American Petroleum Institute): After six months’ critical review, the KLS vehicle urea solution has successfully gained the DEF certificate of API, so as to make us the first vehicle urea solution manufacturing enterprise which has gained the API DEF certificate in China.
The full name of API DEF certificate is API Diesel Exhaust Fluid Certification Program, which is the certificate with the highest standard for vehicle urea solution in America, Canada and other North American markets. Because EPA has carried out the EPA 2010 emission standard which is more strict than that of European and Asian countries this year, the relative standards of API DEF certificate are more strict than the vehicle urea solution standard in China.
During the six months’ certification process, the experts group from API have carried out an in-depth review on production capacity, manufacturing equipments, product quality and many other factors. The excellent quality of KLS product and the various production controlling technology with the international advanced level have made the American experts be sure that KLS is the vehicle urea solution which is with the most outstanding quality in China, thus API decided to complete the review for the KLS product and formally awarded us the DEF certificate.
Being awarded the API DEF certificate marks that KLS company has been among the world’s first-level vehicle urea solution manufacturers, and also paving the way for us to enter the North American market in the future.
